Top Link Building Tips for generating Quality Backlinks

In this article, you will get the top most important tips for generating Quality Backlinks:

- PageRank of the linking page, one of the most important factors.

- Always try get links from higher PageRank, the higher pagerank the higher value you get.

- The value your web page gets from a linking page is equal to the total PageRank value of that page divided by the total number of outgoing links on that page.

- If you get the PR4 page and that has 20 outgoing links is much better than getting a link from a PR4 page that has 60 outgoing links.

- Always remember one thing; never get the link from that sites which have more than 30 outgoing links.

- This is where many people often hesitate, as they usually insist on getting a link from a high PR page, but if that page has 100 outgoing links, your page would only get 1/100th of that value.

- Always does industry relevance otherwise it’s a drawback for your site.

- Search engines give higher importance to links pointing to your site from your own industry segment as opposed to those from unrelated industries.

- Try to get a link from a category that closely matches your own industry.

- Anchor Text must be clearly visible on a Web page. Since anchor text is very important, make sure that your most important keywords appear in the anchor text from the link pointing to your site. You can use anchor text in:

• External links – links from other sites.
• Internal links – links on your pages.
• Navigation maps.
• Links on your main page. A very important spot.

- Remember one thing before making anchor text - humans will also read your links as well as search engines, so the words in your anchor text need to make sense!

- Never exchange links with flash sites because its useless for you.

Image optimization tips – How to drive traffic from images?

You can drive good traffic from your images. Images can drive traffic through image search as well as inclusion in universal search results.

For image SEO, it can be helpful to think of optimizing images like optimizing a tiny webpage within your page. Things like anchor text, url structure, and descriptive tagging are factors for optimizing images for search engines, just like regular webpages.

In this article, we are giving you some tips for optimizing your images to improve their performance in SERP’s.

1. First you have to know about content because if you don’t know your content and you are placing irrelevant images then its not a good for keyword position. Finding the right kind of image is incredibly important. Great images can add another dimension to an article or page that can encourage people to share the page and create some great backlinks. One thing you have remember when you are searching for image – never use copyright images because it’s illegal.

2. When you save or use the images, always use the keywords in file name. For example, when you are choosing URL for your site, you always try to use keywords in your URL. You have to do same in this. Using keyword-rich words in your image filename is important for helping search engines determine relevancy. For example, if your images name is “abc_999913339.jpg”,”12010.jpg” its less effective or can’t give you result.

Even, Google also suggest that you should place all photos in one folder instead of creating many folders. There is one more suggestion from Google – always use common image file types like JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP.

3. Always use alt text or tags because search engine help to determine what your image is all about. Search engines need to rely on captions around the image, alt text, file names and other surrounding text. Adding descriptive text in the alt tag helps the search engines determine what the content of the image is.

4. In image optimization, anchor text is another important factor. If you use link to images with text, your anchor text can play a role in how your image is ranked for keywords. Use informative descriptive anchor text that describes the image.

5. In last, never use too much stuff in your alt tags. Try to use short description in text, captions and file names. Remember to optimize images for your website visitors. Image SEO is as much about user experience as it is about achieving better search engine rankings.
